We offer a range of professional level PADI qualifications. Please bear in mind that the purpose of these qualifications is to prepare you for a job within the diving industry. If this is your goal, then we offer what you need. If you would like to continue your diving education, but have no interest in working in the industry, consider looking at speciality diving courses (we offer most of them)

Become a Divemaster
Divemaster is the first professional membership level available within PADI.

As a Divemaster, you are entitled to charge for your services, offering guided diving or actually running some specific courses for qualified divers. As such, it is professional and vocational training. The standards we set for our Divemasters are very high.

Divemasters are trained via internship, which means that in effect they “work” at our shop and are involved with real students in real training and in real Divemaster situations, rather than as part of a role-playing exercise.

Divemasters take responsibility for other's diving and as such, must be completely at home with their own skills. This normally takes a reasonable amount of diving experience.

The course itself involves instructor level theory, swimming stamina testing, skill circuits, and problem solving exercises, rescue assessments and a mapping project. In conjunction, you will be in water, both in the pool and open water, assisting real students during their courses.

The cost of the course includes all texts etc. but does not include use of hire equipment. At this level, we expect that candidates should have their own, as we would expect most candidates to have been diving for a reasonable period of time.

In some cases, arrangements can be made, please phone to discuss your requirements. It also does not include PADI membership fees.
