PADI Continuing Education Courses
Emergency First Responce (EFR)
Emergency First Response is a new, exciting program and has replaced
and updated Medic First Aid as a general First Aid qualification,
open to divers or non-divers. A good basic knowledge of First
Aid is a great skill for everyone, and can make all the difference
in a real life emergency.
EFR is a one-day course, utilising a home-study video and manual,
and then hands on practise with an instructor. It has two elements,
a CPR module and then a First Aid module. These are available
either in combination or separately to suit your requirements.
Excellent new materials, and an innovative "coaching"
approach to skill development support this new approach.
The qualification is valid for 2 years. We find that the course
is amazing in the way that the key points of emergency first aid
are retained and remembered, particularly in crisis situations.
As mentioned above, First Aid training is a pre-requisite for
Rescue Diver, and a current EFR qualification is also required
at Divemaster and above.
EFR Course £100.00 Includes First Aid, C.P.R. and A.E.D.
Speciality courses
PADI speciality courses will give you access to skills and techniques
that are not covered anywhere else within the PADI system. Whether
you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran, there will be areas
within these courses where you will learn new things. Many people
seem to feel that once Rescue diver is completed, they should
carry on to Divemaster, when in truth, as recreational (i.e. non-professional)
divers, they would be better served by looking at specialities.
All specialities include manuals (except Peak Performance Buoyancy);
Where specialised equipment is required, it will be provided,
and all gear hire is also included in the price.
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Most newly qualified divers find buoyancy control the most difficult
skill to master.
The course requires two dives. £75

can count towards the speciality if applicable. If so, price adjustments
can be made, please contact us for further details.
The following courses have Advanced Open Water as a minimum

Master Scuba Diver
A prestigious qualification, underlining your commitment to diving
excellence.
Once completed, you will have Rescue, EFR and 5 specialities,
or Divemaster and 5 specialities. If you have no aim to be involved
in the diving industry, this is the qualification to aim for.
As a Master Scuba Diver, you will be acknowledged as having very
high skill levels and being committed to diving as a recreation.
As with all our courses, we aim for you to have as broad and deep
a range of experience before issuing a certification.
Whilst some in the industry will award Master Scuba Diver certification
to people with limited experience, we most certainly will not.
Master Scuba Diver awarded by H20 will require levels of dedication
similar to that of those people who choose the 'professional'
route and undergo Divemaster training.
Please ring for flexible packages that can lead to Master Scuba
Diver qualification.
